Philadelphia International Cricket Festival
May 1 – 5, 2025

The invitational event is an annual celebration held during the first week in May, designed to promote cricket in the region and
strengthen both national and international sporting ties..

As the Cradle of Cricket in the United States, Philadelphia holds a distinguished place in the sport’s history. The first American Cricket Club was founded at Haverford College in 1834, which is also home to the United States Cricket Museum. Over the past 175 years, Philadelphia has been at the heart of American cricket. The city is renowned for its exceptional cricket grounds, regarded as among the best in the world.

Each year, over 200 players representing various nationalities converge in Philadelphia for four days of fast-paced, exciting 20/20 cricket action. The 20/20 format, with its shorter, more dynamic matches, ensures a thrilling experience for both players and spectators alike.

On the first Sunday afternoon in May, the group finalists face off in the Festival Trophy Cup match at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. The excitement of the game, combined with the picturesque setting of lush green lawns, provides a fitting conclusion to this thrilling celebration of cricket. It’s an unforgettable experience that marks the highlight of the event and a perfect way to cap off four days of competition.
